First of all we just want to thank everyone for the prayers in behalf of our family. Quinn is doing great! It was a huge relief when the surgery was over. I had a distinct impression as I was holding my sleeping baby that all the prayers really made a difference. I would say that Quinn is back to himself. He crawls, smiles, coos, and tries to hold on to his toys (which is tough with big brother around).
We especially couldn't have made it without the support of our family. My mom came and took care of Alex while we were at the hospital. She also was a big help administering medication at 2am. Erin's parents came to the hospital to support us too. And we know the rest of you sent your positive thoughts and prayers. All of those acts of love helped us. Thank you.

Merilee! I'm so glad to hear he's doing well. What a sweet happy little boy. I can see he didn't lose his smile!!! Love the new haircut! Is it new, or have I just not seen your for forever?

I'm so glad things went well! Look at your adorable family! So cute! For some reason the picture of you holding Quinn makes me think you look a LOT like your mommy!
