Saturday Is Fun

After being taken to a number of "boring things" Alex finally got to do something fun in Richmond. We took Alex to Richmond's Children Museum. What a great children's museum! It was hard to tell who was having more fun, Daddy or Alex. Lots of fun for the kids and the parents.

You've come a long way baby...

It seemed like yesterday that Alex was born. He is already 1 year old and walking. The time has gone by so quickly. He amazes me everyday. His new favorite thing to do is to clap. I suppose I will blink one day and he will be grown up. For now, we just try to savor every moment.

Today's Special

I don't know why I was thinking about this, but I was. I was remembering a PBS show from my childhood. It was about a manikin, named Jeff, who came to life after the department store closed. There was also a mouse named Muffy. There I was at 11:30 at night trying to figure out what that show was called. As I was looking on the internet today I rediscovered "Today's Special." Does anyone else remember this show???

Labor Day Fun

We spent this Labor Day at the DeSpain Lakehouse. Everyone always has lots of fun. Recreation and relaxation... oh and lots of good food.
