Our house is almost done! We spent this Saturday as a family (for a change) working on the house. Even Alex got in on the action. Quinn mostly slept and watched the ceiling fan. I worked very hard installing the knobs on our cabinets. Really, Erin has worked the hardest on this house and I must give him credit. It is fantastic! I can't wait to live there. Hopefully we will move in soon. We just have to pass our temporary occupancy permit inspection and we are good to go.

Random
So, I always think I'm going to respond when someone tags me and I get distracted and never do. So, I'm going to do this one.
1. I've been tagged many times but I this is the first "tag" task I've done.
2. I'm picky about which stores I like shopping at. It's the experience and service that I value. I suppose that is why I love Trader Joe's.
3. My hand-eye coordination is not stellar. That is why I'm not good at very many sports. (Especially sports that require you to use a ball.)
4. I can get along with just about anybody, but I wish I was a better friend.
5. I can't wait to take my kids to Disney World (or Disney Land). I've only been to Disney World once and Disney Land twice.
6. I've become addicted to buying baby/kids clothes. Old Navy, Baby Gap, Target, and Gymboree are especially tempting.
7. I wouldn't mind moving back to Utah for a while. I miss my family.
8. My favorite children's show is Charlie and Lola.
9. On that same note, I am a bit of an anglophile (I love anything British). I'm especially a sucker for BBC period dramas.
10. I buy a lot of books that I never read. But I mean to read them.
11. When I went to Europe in high school I passed up the Tower of London for the Doc Marten store. The follies of youth.
12. I made up for not going to the Tower of London as a teen by going there with my husband. Loved it. I plan on going there again when I go back to London.
13. I studied Chinese so that I could travel to China. Several years later I don't remember very much Mandarin but I still want to go to China some day.
14. After being exposed to the home-building industry for 6 years now I feel like I could sell houses. Sadly, that the new construction is a bad industry to be in right now.
15. I have a much greater appreciation for my mother now that I am a mother. I don't know how she did it.
16. I can get a lot more done when I am listening to music, especially if it has a good beat.
17. I don't tell me husband how much I appreciate him enough. I really do appreciate what a good father, husband, provider and friend he is.
18. I get annoyed when people put my blog on their blog-roll but forget to grant me access to their blog. If you are guilty of this you can fix it : )
19. I try not to hold grudges, but I recognize that I can always do better.
20. I love all the seasons, but I don't really care for winter in Richmond. It's kind of bleak.
21. I admire when public figures take responsibility for their mistakes.
22. Nobody can make me smile as much as my children, but also nobody can try my patience as much.
23. I am critical when I try to pass someone on the road and they speed up. Sometimes I speed up too though.
24. I wish I knew myself better so it wouldn't take me so long to fill this out.
25. I should be packing right now.
I tag any of my blog readers who feel inclined to share 25 random things about themselves. It is actually fun.

Date Night Craziness
We have been married six and a half years and we haven't lost our sense of humor. This weekend we went on a date (at the mall) and decided to create new outfits for each other. Which look is more creative?
