Sorry No Pictures

This post is more reflective than anything else. I've been taking a few free minutes to read the blogs of my friends and family. I really and truly do enjoy reading all of your blogs. Kids, dogs, vacations, and crazy hijinks all make me feel more connected. But, it has also made me reflect on how much I am missing. Erin and I are now in the fifth new ward since we married six years ago. Everywhere I go I get to make new friends and then I move (or my ward gets redistricted). I'm trying not to get despair by giving up on new friends, but our next move is looming within the year. I'm starting to wish that we would stay someplace for more than a year or two. I just don't know when that will be. Hopefully we will settle before Alex starts school (three years away).

Mostly for Grandmas

Just a warning: this post is mostly meant for grandmas (and aunts and uncles).

So, in case you don't know we are expecting our second child in November. We just had our big ultrasound and found our that we are having another boy. Alex looked at the photos and said, "Doggie." So close, but not quite. Another humorous sibling moment, we told Alex that there was a baby in Mommy's belly and he pressed his eyes to my tummy and said, "Dark." He just couldn't see it. It cracked us up.
